Brendan Adams – Songlife
I am a passionate musician, recording artist, producer, life coach and music educator. With more than 20 years of experience, it was time to develop my own teaching methods that would bring new life to the way I teach and play my instrument. My approach to teaching combines consciously developed interpersonal skills with alternative music learning methods specifically for the guitar. Hereby, my main focus is on keeping budding guitarists motivated and fulfilled on their musical journey, developing a lasting joy and appreciation for music making. My system is centred around communicating the four main elements of music – melody, harmony, rhythm and dynamic – to each student with consideration to their own unique learning process. I believe that each student deserves a learning strategy that best facilitates their unique way of learning and playing music. This we reach through a collaborative effort in a relaxed atmosphere. Generally, my purpose as a teacher is not for students to deliver results under the pressure of expectations, but rather to have a fulfilling experience learning and playing music. Through this, my students have been reaching results that are unexpected and most satisfying.
